2012 End of the World?

There are people searching about ‘2012 end of the world’ and ‘2012 predictions’. There is nothing wrong to take such things for fun. However, problem happens when some people really take them seriously. They can get cheated.

Some story tell that expert or group of experts find something mysterious in an ancient text and come up with their explanation that the world is going to be destroyed in a certain year or certain day. This kind of thing is happening for quite some time now and to get a better idea, you should read this Wikipedia entry, 2012 phenomenon and it is quoted: “The 2012 phenomenon comprises a range of eschatological beliefs that cataclysmic or transformative events will occur on December 21, 2012 which is said to be the end-date of a 5,125-year-long cycle in the Mayan Long Count calendar. Various astronomical alignments and numerological formulae related to this date have been proposed, but none have been accepted by mainstream scholarship.”

What perhaps most people forget is that we live in a world with regular natural disasters. People are dying from flood, cyclones and earthquakes every year and the same thing would happen in 2012.
Thus, end of the world will not happen in 2012 and it is indeed a nonsense prediction. Que sera sera, what will happen is our GOD will.
