Chris Simms Arrested for Driving Under Influence of Marijuana

Tennessee Titans backup quarterback Chris Simms was arrested in New York last Thursday (July 1, 2010) on charges of operating a vehicle while under the influence of marijuana, the New York Post and New York Daily News reported.
Chris Simms was the son of former Super Bowl-winning New York Giants QB Phil Simms, is heading into his seventh NFL season. Phil Simms is now CBS Sports' lead NFL analyst.

The Post reported that police observed him around 2 a.m. with red eyes, a flushed face and slurred speech. Simms called the case against him "very weak" as he left a Manhattan courthouse after his arraignment on charges of driving while impaired by drugs.
