American Idol welcomed two new judges this year -- Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez. What did you think of Mr. Tyler as a judge?
We think the rock legend was excellent which is funny and had some good things to say to the contestant.
Here are some of Steven's gems:
•[on judging] -- "I know why we're here. We're all here because we're not all there."
•[on contestant Rachel Zevita] -- "We oughta let her in the door. Water that flower 'cause I think it's gonna grow."
•[to Randy, about a contestant with a nice backside] -- "Were you lookin' down, boy? I saw you lookin' down?" [fist bump]
•[to a contestant with metal stars on her bra top] -- "What's with the jujubees on your oohoohbees?"
•[being lecherous] -- "An Italian with tattoos, I love you already ... Where is your pitchfork, you little devil?"
•(dropping a little "Cool Hand Luke" on us] -- "What we have here is a failure to communicate."
